While using our website, you do not have to identify yourself or divulge
personal information. We do not collect personally identifiable information
about you on this site without your knowledge, and all such information is
collected directly from you. The Fulton County Democratic Party may periodically
ask you to provide personally identifying information such as your name, postal
address, email address, credit/debit card information and other information
about you. You are under no obligation to provide us with this information.
How do we protect your information?
Our web site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse
or alteration of your information in our database. However, while we make good
faith efforts to store information collected in a secure operating environment,
we cannot guarantee complete security.
At this time the Fulton County Democratic Party website does not accept online
payments. Please do send us credit card or other banking information via email
or our online forms. These methods do not currently incorporate security
protocols to protect your sensitive data. If, in the future, this website starts
using online transactions we will then implement stronger security measures.
Until such time, please make all financial transactions in person, by US mail,
or by other secure carrier.
How do we use the information you provide?
The Fulton County Democratic Party uses the information we collect from you in
an effort to engage you as an online activist and Party participant, including
by sending you news and information about the Fulton County Democratic Party,
accepting contributions, and for other purposes. We will not sell, rent, trade,
lend or otherwise share your personal information with other organizations for
commercial purposes unless you agree otherwise. Finally, we may disclose
personally identifiable information when required by law or when we have a good
faith belief that release is appropriate to protect our rights or property, or
to protect our donors and supporters from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful
conduct.
When you sign one of our petitions or surveys:
We treat your name, city, state, and any comments as public information. We may
make comments along with your city and state available to the press and public
online. We will not make your postal or email address publicly available, but we
may share this information with the recipients of these petitions and thereafter
the recipient may make these petitions public. If you are not already a member
of the Fulton County Democratic Party, we will use your email address to send
you periodic updates and actions you can take to help Fulton County and other
Hoosier Democrats.
When you sign up for our mailing or email list:
We collect your name, postal address, email address and certain other
information, such as your phone number. If we do not already have your
information on file, we will use your email address to send you periodic updates
and actions you can take to help Fulton County and other Indiana Democrats.

Some information other than personally identifiable information may
automatically be collected as you browse our site. In order to consistently
improve our online activities, we use cookies, track email open rates and
periodically analyze our web traffic. This information helps us improve the
quality of the site and enhance our online promotion efforts.
